Campaign a big success

NEW Rosemere AOS staged a successful publicity campaign during the Bolton Festival earlier this year.

The society supported the marquee in Victoria Square and displayed photographs and other material.

Two young singers, Hannah Gent and Donna Clare, toured the town centre wearing full make-up and Japanese kimonos, publicising NRAOS's production of The Mikado next March.

Chairman Bob Whitelaw said: "We have been enormously encouraged by the success of this promotion."

"Although we have sufficient men for the show, it would be nice if some younger fellows would join us."
