Ammies set for kick-off

PRESTWICH-based Bury Amateurs kick off their Lancashire Amateur League season with the tough task of taking on league champions Rochdale St Clements.

Pre-season has gone very well, with the senior team reaching the quarter-finals of the Umbro Trophy, only losing on penalties to Irlam Town, and still in final stages of the Kenyon Cup.

Saturday's game kicks-off at 2.30pm at Drinkwater Park. Bury GSOB host Lymm.
