Burnley match cancelled after striker's death

TODAY'S match between Burnley and Queen's Park Rangers has been cancelled following the death of striker Ray Jones.

The QPR frontman, who due to turn 19 next week, was killed in a motor vehicle accident in London in the early hours of the morning.

A statement from Burnley FC said: "Deepest sympathies go out to the player's family and the club from everyone at Burnley Football Club."
