Man arrested over park sex attack

A man has been arrested over the alleged rape of an 11-year-old girl in a Blackpool park last week.

An 18-year-old local is today being questioned at the resort's Bonny Street police station.

Police were out in force in Stanley Park last night, a week after the alleged incident happened, to speak to passers-by, in the hunt for information.
