AN elderly woman was knocked down by a car in Bolton.
The woman, believed to be in her late 70s, suffered cuts to her head and was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital.
The collision happened at 4pm yesterday in Chorley Old Road, near the junction with Shepherd Cross Street.
