The second outdoor meeting of 2007 - planned to be a walk led by society members around the former Musbury Deer Park medieval hunting ground of the de Lacy family - was disappointingly abandoned following the onset of torrential rain. Next month's meeting, on Monday, August 13, is the final outdoor meeting of the season. Members will visit Bury to look at places of historical interest.
